Held at the Francistown Council Stadium on the 20th of April 2024, the event was a resounding success, drawing the participation of 53 enthusiastic children from the eastern part of the city.
Dedicated to nurturing and transforming young sporting talent, RBBH has emerged as a beacon of hope for aspiring athletes across Botswana. With a focus on grassroots development, the programme aims to provide equal opportunities for all, regardless of background or circumstance.
The cricket festival served as a platform to introduce and groom talent within the sport, attracting a diverse group of young athletes eager to showcase their skills. Among the participants were 19 girls and 34 boys, representing schools such as Our Lady of the Desert, Nyangwabgwe, Phatlogo, and Monarch primary schools.
