After a five (5) year hiatus, the Botswana National Sport Commission (BNSC) Golf Day returned to the golf course on the 18th March 2022 at Gaborone Golf Club. The Golf Day was hosted to provide a platform for engagement between sport and the corporate sector; with a view that in the process, issues of value alignment and general symbiosis in relationships could be established. Another objective of the Golf Day was to raise funds to be able to support deserving disadvantaged young sportspersons to get equipment, training and other forms of support. Fundraising was done through selling of holes with premium holes going for P10, 000.00 and standard holes selling for P5, 000.00.
The BNSC Golf day 2022 had over a 100 players who were nicely dressed in the BNSC branded gear; Golf T-shirts and caps. Shot gun was at 1200hrs and play ended around 1730hrs. A prize giving ceremony followed at 1830hrs where winners were awarded prizes.
