Botswana Badminton Association intends on sending a team to the upcoming All Africa Senior Badminton Championship scheduled to take place from 21 to 28 October 2021 in Kampala, Uganda. To this end, on the 11th September the association convened a national team selection at the Botswana University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (BUAN) campus indoor facility. A total of 16 players who had impressed the national team selection panel from previous events were invited to compete for a spot in the final squad. The selected team is as follows:

Tshepo Perekisi
Tebogo Ndzinge
Tessa Kabelo
The team is expected to undergo a series of training camps in preparation to battle it out with other African players to earn the title 'Champions of Africa' during this year's competition. The team will be coached by Mr Oreeditse Thela.
There will also be an Umpires Assessment Workshop which will run simultaneous to the Championship. Successful candidates will earn Badminton Confederation of Africa accreditation and will be legible to officiate in any badminton competition within the African region. Based on their individual performances in an online 'Road to BCA Accreditation Course' conducted in 2020, the following officials have been invited to attend the assessment workshop:
